THE WAR OF INDEPENDENCE
My friends, war has come to Ukraine. For real.
Diversion and intel groups of the Russian GRU are acting in Donbas. They are accompanied by their mercenaries in the disguise of irregular gangs.
This means that the main obstacle on the road to freedom and prosperity for the Ukrainians, obvious from the very beginning of the Maidan, is Putin. The Putin problem is fueled by two of our internal problems: open treason within mid and high level of state, especially in the Ministry of the Internal Affairs, and the deteriorating economic situation in the country.
The latter problem will be solved, albeit not in the best way and temporarily, by loans from international creditors. That is, if they see some political backbone and organizational abilities of our government, or at least an attempt of those.
The problem of treason has also been obviousl from the very first days of the Maidan.
Traitors to the oath, the Ukrainian militia (police) forces, who beat students to pulp, shot at unarmed people in the Institutska street, adorned themselves with St.George ribbons yesterday in Kramatorsk, while still wearing Ukrainian insignia on their uniforms and standing with a small group of terrorists.
If the under the table agreements of certain persons with Putin in regard to the Crimea, such as the well remembered "truce" in the Maidan, were yet doubtful, in case of GRU groups rampart in Slov'yansk these are quite obvious.
Ukraine has enough internal security troops, the army, reserve officers and colossal stockpiles of weapons.
HOWEVER, THERE IS LACK OF POLITICAL BACKBONE, A LEADER, WHO PUTS OUR COLLECTIVE GOOD ABOVE PERSONAL EGOTISM AND THE PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN.
We were together in the Maidan. We didn't divide ourserves by belonging to a party, while in the critical moments like the night of 18 - 19 February, presidential ambitions were forsaken in favor of cooperation, that is why we won.
We, as a nation, are losing terribly because the ruling elites dutifully pretend there is no war, no state of emergency, but there are elections and the game of power distribution.
Now more than ever, we must stand united as a monolyth and convey to our compatriots in the East and those in the military and police forces who stay true to the pledge, that Ukraine and Kyiv will not surrender anything or anyone. All terrorists, separatists, federasts and other 'tsaryovs' will have such a beating that for the next 200 years no one ever has any desire to play around. We are out of patience.
The destiny of the nation is now being decided not in Kyiv, but in the East. This is where I am going.
